Good Faith Agreement: By accessing and using this website and its services, you ('the Client') agree to conduct all transactions in good faith, defined as honesty and fairness in all dealings. Meridian Portraits reserves the right to refuse work that does not meet professional standards, (such as poor reference photo clarity, excessive glare, obstructions to the image, and other factors that may impact editability,) to ensure fairness and professionalism in all interactions.

Ownership and Rights: You affirm that you either own the rights to the submitted photographs or have obtained all necessary permissions and releases from the relevant rights holders.

Grant of License: By submitting orders and providing scanned photographs as source material, you grant Meridian Portraits a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, and distribute the restored/digitally enhanced versions and other finished works.

Copyright Notice and Credit: Meridian Portraits retains the copyright and ownership of the restored/digitally enhanced versions and other finished works. Meridian Portraits may display and credit the restored/digitally enhanced versions on its website and social media platforms, attributing Meridian Portraits as the creator. However, Meridian Portraits will not claim ownership of the original photographs.
 

Print Waivers & Usage Restrictions: When placing a "Print Your Own" order, The Client accepts the usage terms outlined in the "Print Waivers" provided for digital-only orders. These waivers clarify permissible uses, including personal use or approved commercial use, and restrict unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of the digital products. ​The waiver terms are binding under the overall Terms of Use agreed to when submitting an order. These restrictions protect the integrity of the finished work while granting appropriate usage rights.

Print-On-Demand Services: If the Client wishes to order canvas or specialty prints, Meridian Portraits will collaborate with reputable printing partners to fulfill your order. The quality, color accuracy, and other aspects of the printed products may vary and are subject to the capabilities of the Print-On-Demand partners used.

Money-Back Guarantee:
Meridian Portraits is committed to client satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with your finished product, all reasonable efforts will be made to correct the image to your liking. Should you remain unsatisfied, you may request a full refund within 90 days of receiving the completed product by contacting info@meridianportraits.com.

 

Confidentiality: Meridian Portraits agrees to handle any personal information provided by you in accordance with applicable privacy laws and will not disclose such information to any third parties without your written consent.

 

Limited Liability: Meridian Portraits will make reasonable efforts to ensure the security and integrity of your photographs and any finished products. However, in no event shall Meridian Portraits be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use of its services or the services it offers.

 

Applicable Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California within the United States. By conducting business with Meridian Portraits, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
